Nikwax Tent and Gear Proof - Nikwax Tent and Gear Proof should be used to treat tents and packs coated with a non-breathable finish. Using Nikwax will make them more waterproof and lengthen the useful life of your gear. Treat by applying while the fabric is still damp, spray or apply with a brush generously and evenly on the uncoated side (the inside) of the fabric. Allow to soak into cloth for 5 minutes and then wipe all excess away with a damp cloth to avoid leaving white residue. The process is so easy, you have no excuse not to put two coats on high-traffic areas like tent floors and pack bottoms.
